Bus Travel

The nearest bus stops to the site are located on Newgate Lane East for the 21 service approximately 140m west, and Tukes Avenue for the 9 and 9A service approximately 460m east of Wheatcross Meadows. Both Stops provide a flagpole, timetable information and a bus shelter for seating and provide travel between Fareham, Gosport and Stubbington.

  • The 21 service operates three times a day throughout the week, with a service between Stubbington and Fareham.
  • The 9/9a service operates twice an hour between Gosport and Fareham.

Hampshire County Council’s Older Person’s ‘Blue Stripe’ Bus Pass

For those that are of a State Pension age you are entitled to a free bus pass. This bus pass entitles you to free travel on bus services throughout England from 09:30am to 11:00pm Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays. Other services can also be accessed in Warsash using this bus service. Information on these services can be found here.

This bus pass also provides access and discounts to a number of other Community Transport services in Hampshire, including:

Rail Travel

Fareham railway station is located approximately 4.9km north form the site and provides services towards Southampton, Portsmouth, and London Waterloo.
